This is how I pitched the new designs to the team. Created a few variations to suggest a character customization system, and created a small scene of two of the chefs.

For the sake of time and budget, we decided to put the customization feature on hold and opted to create 4 unique chefs that would be randomly assigned to players when they join the game!

Here are their wireframes. They're built to be modular for future customization, but the hair and textures are the real differences for now.

To avoid having to spend part of our budget on animations, I pitched the idea of using physics bones to create secondary motion based on the VR headset movement. I designed the rigs with this in mind and we have fun wiggly chefs now!

We also implemented a system to blink the eyes with a blendshape on random intervals.

Muffin Fight was released in (2020) and was the first shipped title I worked on. All the original assets were created within two weeks. In 2023 I pitched a redesign of the chef models to our team and they loved it. This is a breakdown of the new chef models!
